“It’s All For His Glory”

Today’s church message was as titled, “It’s All For His Glory” from John 9: 1-7. The message stood out to me today because the pastor spoke of a man that was born blind but healed of disability from the saliva of Jesus and dust from the ground, which was placed on his eyelids as paste. After Jesus had done this he had the man go to wash in the pool of Siloam.

The verses I loved the most were “3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

This made me realize the purpose and redirection of my blog, which is to share my testimony of how I was a young mom and still am a fairly young mom, balancing my everyday life. Sometimes things happen to people that isn’t a result of sin, failures, birth defects, etc., Maybe the dust was placed in our lives so that that the works of God can be displayed through us. This made me think about the purpose and direction of my blog. I was tempted to only share OOTD and fashion because I felt like that’s what the masses wanted. But, that’s not just who I am. My blog is about fashion, motherhood, and my life, but it’s also how I balance the other things in my life such as: finances, spirituality,  my social life, anxiety, professional life, and physical well-being. I created it to share my testimony of how becoming a young mother allowed God to change my life for the better and still is.  I started a blog to help other women in my situation or who have been in a similar situation to inspire and encourage them, to let them know that hey, although we are in or have been in dusty situations, God uses those dusty times to polish us and mold us into works of God. Our Father is our clay-maker and he will use the dust in our lives to mold us into what he sees fit. If we do things for his Glory he will shape our lives into something great and better than we could’ve imagined. So, I saw all this to say to someone who is running from a dusty situation, doesn’t understand why there’s dust in their lives, I encourage you NOT to run from it and run to HIM. That dust is in your life for a reason. Pray to him and allow him to work in your life, because you’ll never know the works God wants to display in you.

I hope this reached someone and could provide inspiration and words of encouragement. Until next time, Love always B<3.
